- All course applicants must be able to meet the physical demands of the course. Learners must have a good understanding of the English language, written and spoken. Learners need to be able to use Microsoft word and a computer to complete theory work.
- The learner’s responsibility to have read the course information and by booking on the course agree to these terms and conditions, also agreeing that the course is suitable for their requirements.
- The course provider accepts no responsibility for any changes to the structure or the course contents if for any reason they do not meet individual requirements.
- A place on a course is only fully confirmed by the agreement of the terms and conditions set out by the trainer provider.
- The training provider has the right to refuse any learner’s booked application. Reasons for refusing their admission, will not be discussed with the applicant.
- The training provider reserves the right to cancel or modify any of their training course which they offer. If payment has taken place and no suitable alternative course or dates have been agreed, any payments for that will be refunded.
- A minimum of two students is required for some courses unless agreed that the practical will be on a one-to-one basis with the learner bringing a model.
- An acceptance and application are not complete until the training provider has confirmed your place via email and the payment is/has been made in full.
- A booked training course is non-transferable to an alternative student. Please ensure when the booking is made giving the correct name of the person attending at the time of making the payment. Amendments to this would require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the course start date. A charge will be made for amendments of £35 per course/date/person.
- There is a minimum age for the courses offered of 18 years old.
- The loss of any property of personal belongings whilst at the training centre is the sole responsibility of the student, the trainer accepts no responsibility for this.
Cancellation policy
- The training provider needs 28 days written notice or 14 days’ notice from the date of booking if your booking was made within 14 days of the course start date.
- Course fees for cancellations refunds are made at the discretion of the training provider. Usually, no refund will be given.
- With sufficient written notice a transfer to another course may be possible. The transfer fee will be charged should this be decided by the trainer. Practitioner course transfer fee would be £250 a CPD transfer fee would be £100, if decided by the training provider.
- The training provider cannot accept any responsibility to changes in peoples work schedules or any other changes in their personal commitments or circumstances.
- If you do not turn up for your course or you cancel your attendance on the course day, the full course fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- If attending a course and your model is unable to turn up or found to have any contra-indications on the day of training, the course cannot go ahead and deemed cancelled. You will need to rebook at the full course cost.
- For longer courses of more than one day, if the student fails to turn up or cancels all course fees are non-refundable. Any outstanding payments due are payable.
- If the course is cancelled due to reasons beyond the training providers control, we will transfer you to another course date. Any travel or accommodation costs learners may incur due the cancellation of a course- the training provider will not be responsible for.
- We reserve the right to change or update any of the courses or materials or costs.
- All students must attend the full training day. Should a student leave the course before the approximate end time, you may not achieve your Diploma. You may also forfeit your course fees.
Payments
- All course fees include all practical equipment used on the day of training excluding towels, certification and practical tuition.
- Course certificates are only given once students have demonstrated that they have learnt the theory and practical skills necessary. Occasionally this may require further days training at an agreed fee.
Course Materials
- For some courses requiring theory learning, information will be given with links to supportive training information.
- For any reason deemed necessary- a student may be asked to leave the teaching practical class. If this is deemed necessary they will be asked to leave the building and no refunds will be given for the course and there will be no further courses available to them.
- All course material, contents and intellectual property rights including copyright patents and design rights relating to course material or any material made available for the course provided remain the sole property of The training provider Yorkshire Holistic Massage Training.
- All material is not for copying or sharing. Any copies of material must be agreed in writing by the training provider.
- Before booking any course please check with your local council if you wish to work in London, to ensure the qualifications meet their requirements.
